Our approach
Every dog is unique in their way of learning. At Obedient BLUE, we aim to make training fun, not fearful, while teaching all levels of obedience and behavior modification. Our techniques help you control aggression, excitement, nervous energy and more. Your dog deserves it and so do you.
Start here
Many people dive right into training without knowing what is expected. By completing our assessment, you and your dog prep for success. Available at our facility or in your home.
We evaluate your dog's behavior and training needs, discuss goals and concerns, and run small training tests to determine where to start.
Ask anything about our process. We discuss your budget and time for training to make sure you are enrolling in the right program.
You leave with your program outline, methods, expected outcomes, equipment needed, and sessions scheduled. You can enroll on the spot.

A jump start on handling skills with your pup. Your puppy learns their name, come, sit, down, better leash manners, place, tunnel and spin, while we cover play nipping, crate training and jumping.

About our trainer
ABCDT Certified Dog Trainer
As far back as I remember, there have always been dogs in my life. At one point we had five dogs in our home. Their love and affection always gave me a sense of security; it was my therapy.
At 16, I took my first kennel job and learned about caring for dogs, dog behavior and working with dogs in group settings. Then came Chance, our rescue hound mix, and my first group obedience class. He was my graduating high school project in 2001.
In 2007 I graduated from Animal Behavior College as a certified dog trainer and became a first-time dog mom to an English yellow Lab I called Blue. In his honor I started Obedient BLUE, "School for Dogs." Blue crossed the rainbow bridge in July 2022, but his memory lives on.
In Blue's honor, I will forever keep training dogs, helping them live their fullest lives, and keeping dogs in homes and out of shelters.

From the moment we met her, it was clear how much she genuinely cares about both the dogs and their owners. She takes the time to really understand each dog's unique personality and needs, tailoring her approach to bring out the best in them.
She listened to our problems, understood our budget constraints and scheduled an assessment so she could give us options. She taught us how to work with our dog and build on the training we had already done.
I have a Huskita puppy. If you know the breed, you KNOW they need to be properly trained! Not only did she train my crazy puppy, but taught ME as well. 10/10.
We participate in weekly one on one dog training and doggy daycare plus, where my puppy is learning basic obedience and socialization. Lyndsey designed a training program to fit her needs and I couldn't be happier with the results.
She is extremely detail oriented, personable and straight forward on the best way to properly handle and train your best canine friend. I have had many dogs and have learned more from her than in all my prior experiences.
Not only is she very knowledgeable, she adjusts the training to each dog's needs and the needs of the owners. Training with Lyndsey has given me confidence when walking our dog.
