Every rescue has a dog that started it. For us, that dog is Petey. When it came time to give this work a name, there was only ever one choice. This organization is his promise: that the dogs who come after him will be cared for the way he deserved to be.
The heart of the promise
Our promise is to help homeless dogs like Petey get the essentials they need to live out their lives to their fullest.
Petey is the reason we talk about promises instead of programs. Every dog who comes into care, whether they go on to a family or stay with us for life, is part of keeping it.
