Guardian Angels
Guardian Angels are the supporters who give at our premier level, $250 a month, toward ongoing veterinary care, housing, rehabilitation and the daily care of every dog in the program.
What a Guardian Angel makes possible
At $250 a month, a Guardian Angel provides the kind of steady support that lets us say yes to a dog who needs surgery, a long rehabilitation or a permanent place in sanctuary.
Like every sponsorship, Guardian Angel gifts support Petey’s Promise’s overall rescue and sanctuary mission and may be used where the need is greatest.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I sponsor a specific dog?
Yes. When you sponsor, you can choose a specific dog or support the rescue wherever the need is greatest.
Where does my sponsorship money go?
Sponsorships support Petey’s Promise’s overall rescue and sanctuary work: veterinary care, food, medication, training and rehabilitation, safe housing, transportation, enrichment and emergency treatment. Funds may be used where the need is greatest.
Does sponsoring a dog cover all of that dog’s expenses?
No. Sponsorship contributes toward overall rescue and sanctuary expenses. It does not necessarily mean you are covering a particular dog’s complete costs.
Are donations tax deductible?
Not at this time. We won’t describe any gift as tax deductible unless and until tax-exempt status is confirmed.
